A week in a day

After our first nights stay in Kansas City (Friday) we drove as far as North Platte, Nebraska and stayed at Holiday RV (Saturday).  It was a nice little camp ground to spend the night in.  Trying to get to our final destination we are not taking any extra time for sight seeing.  We pull in to the campground, set up, fix dinner and get some sleep.

We left Nort Platte and drove to Douglas WY (Sunday) and stopped at a KOA.  It too was a nice spot with   

pretty scenery.  We drove through a pretty good rain storm and that was a little bit nerve racking.  

 

 

                            

  

 Now it is Monday and we had a 5 hour drive to Cody.  We arrive at our destination for the week.  It is nice to be able to set up and stay that way for a whole week.  We are told there is lots to do here, but our goal is Yellowstone National Park.  

I've had a little trouble keeping up with the blog due to internet access, and not knowing exactly how to do what I want to do.  I will post more pics later, but wanted to get this on here before I forget about it all.  It is now actually Sunday (June 8, 2014) So I will have a lot to catch up on.
